I’m so excited to share today’s post with you (especially my DC, Maryland, and Virginia fam)! Furniture shopping can be such a daunting task. If you’re anything like me, you might like a few different individual items, but you’re not sure how they fit together or what general aesthetic you’d like to go for throughout your home or in each individual room.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Marlo Furniture store in Alexandria, Virginia and picking out pieces that I would incorporate into my own home.
One thing I love about the Marlo showroom is that it’s divided up into different sections depending on the type of furniture style. For example, I gravitated toward the modern living section! They have traditional pieces, old world pieces, and even a large selection of outdoor furniture! I loved everything in the modern living section – all of the neutral tones with pops of color in the accessories. The styling of all of the pieces in the showroom really helped me to imagine what the furniture would look like in my own home!
As you can tell from the photographs, Marlo has pieces for every room in your home, whether that be a casual living room, a cozy bedroom, or a chic dining room (that I would obviously use as a work station too! #cityliving).
