Fall Dresses | Leopard Dress

ASOS Leopard Dress (wearing size 2) | Golden Goose Sneakers (wearing 37, usually size 7) | Rainbow Bracelets (set of 3 for $17)

TGIF! I hope you had a nice week. Thankfully, this week seemed to fly by.

I mentioned in last week’s Week In Review post that Michael and I made a dinner reservation last Saturday at Giacomo’s for our first restaurant outing since March. We had the BEST time! (I wore the leopard dress above!) I shared our experience on Stories and received a handful of DMs saying “you look so happy!” LOL I was! We sat on the patio and since we made the earliest reservation (5PM), there was only one other couple there when we were. It was so nice to get out and feel a little be of normalcy! We had so much fun that we decided to do it again this weekend! We’re trying out another one of our favorite spots that has patio dining available. Again, we made an early reservation so that we aren’t there with many other people.

Have you ventured out to a restaurant where you are? Would love to know how your experience went! Drop a note in the comments below!

This Week’s Blog Posts

What it’s Really Like to be a Beautycounter Consultant // Ever been curious about what it’s like to be a Beautycounter consultant?! I shared ALL the details in this post! Including potential income opportunities! I’m always curious to pull the curtain back on these type of things. If you’re like me, check out the post!

Fall Dresses for When It’s Still 90 Degrees Outside! // I’m all about flowy, fall vibe dresses these days (hence my obsession with the leopard dress I’m wearing in the photo above!). I rounded up a handful of dresses that you can wear now, while it’s still sweltering outside, and still get in the fall mood!

My Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Wish List // One feature of the NSale that I LOVE this year – the ability to create a Wish List! I’m not able to shop until next week so I’ve been tailoring down my list to the items I really want so that I can easily add them to my bag when I’m able to shop! Check out the post for all the details + see my current wish list!

Weekly Workouts

This week’s workouts …

For workouts this week, I did at-home Orangetheory on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday (took Tuesday off) and yoga via my friend Alexis on Friday morning. I’m amazed (and thankful) that Orangetheory is still providing daily, free workouts on on its YouTube channel. My friend Alexis is a yoga and barre instructor and general wellness guru. She launched her own virtual community studio during quarantine since she wasn’t able to teach at her brick and mortar studio. She has a catalog of classes online + offers live classes during the week too! You can try it out for FREE here!

I’m planning on getting in a long walk in this afternoon (Friday) and likely on Sunday too!

TV Show Recs

I usually share podcast recs here, but this week was light on the podcasts, and honestly, none that I listened to are really worth sharing. But I have two TV shows that I’ve been watching and loving that are worth a share! First up, Down to Earth! Zac Efron has a new Netflix series where Zac travels around the world with wellness expert Darin Olien in a travel show that explores healthy, sustainable ways to live. It’s really interesting, educational, and inspiring! I highly recommend checking it out!

The second show isn’t a new one, but it’s one Michael and I have been binging – Home Town on HGTV! All 4 seasons are available on Hulu. It’s like a better (yes, I said it) Fixer Upper. If you’re not familiar, the show is based in Laurel, MS. The two hosts, husband and wife duo Ben and Erin, renovate dilapidated houses and turn them into GEMS! Added bonus that they both went to Ole Miss – Hotty Toddy! It’s a nice, easy, fun show to wind down to at night!

Weekend Plans

A lot of the same. I’m really looking forward to another dinner date out at one of our favorite restaurants. Other than that, we’re planning on a chill weekend at home.

My Favorite Things this Week

Kendra Scott Earrings // I received a few new Kendra Scott pieces last week and I’m LOVING both pairs of earrings in vintage gold. If you’re familiar with Kendra Scott jewelry, you likely know that her gold pieces are usually a shinier gold. The “vintage gold” is a new finish, which I love! These mini huggie earrings are perfect for everyday wear while these chunky hoops are great for date night!

Gorjana Necklace // This necklace reminds me of one my mom used to wear in the 90s! I love it! It’s the perfect layering necklace. I even slept in it last night. (I’m always here for jewelry that I don’t have to take off!)

Beautycounter Cream Blush + Cream Highlighter // I switched my usual powder blush to Beautycounter’s Cream Blush in Hibiscus this week and have been adding the Cream Highlighter in Pearl Glow too – I love the dewy, glowy combo! A little bit of both goes a long way! You just need a dab of color and a dab of highlighter. I also like to apply the highlighter under my eyes for a little extra glow (and awakeness!).

Have a nice weekend!
