Lighten Up

Happy Wednesday!  I’m so excited to be back with my first outfit post of the new year!  If you were following along towards the end of 2015, you may have noticed that I wore a lot of dark colors (case and point here, here, and here), which I’m usually all about, but today I wanted to share a lighter look.  I LOVE how this outfit turned out.  I’m obsessed with this new cozy blanket scarf from lou lou boutiques.  The colors in it are great as there’s a bit of navy, a little black, and a touch of cream all mixed together so it’s great to throw on with just about anything!  It’s also thick but not too obnoxiously bulky.  And I love the fringe at the bottom.  It adds a little something extra.

 Also, you may have noticed that I ditched my black bucket bag for this cognac beauty (it comes in 3 colors!).  I know, they are almost identical – what can I say, I’m a creature of habit.  I hope your week is going well.  It has been so nice to be back on a normal schedule this week.  I’ve felt so productive and motivated.  I think it’s all of the “year in review” and “new year goals” posts that I’ve been reading, but nonetheless, I’ll take it!
