I hope everyone had an amazing holiday season! I’m finally getting back in the swing of things after traveling for Christmas and having visitors for New Year’s Eve. I wanted to take today to share a few of my favorite posts from 2015 and to thank you all for following along this year. You can click on the post title to view the post in its entirety. It means so much to me that each one of you take time out of your day to stop by Cobalt Chronicles. I have had an absolute blast creating content for this blog of mine this year and sharing part of myself with you all! So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! I’m truly grateful for all of the encouragement and support I have received this year, and I am looking forward to all that 2016 will bring. Cheers!
This was one of my very first outfit posts on the blog. It was shot in the Capitol Hill area. And you know I absolutely love this tunic as it has made several appearances since this photo was taken.
It’s Nice to Have You in Birmingham
I loved visiting Birmingham this summer as it is where I spent six years prior to moving to Washington.
We shot these photos on our way to dinner this summer. When there was still enough daylight left in the evenings to make that happen!
I had a blast working with Warby Parker to promote their pop-up shop in Nordstrom over the summer.
You may recognize this photo as being pretty similar to my “Meet Ashlee” photo. They were shot the same night.
It’s no secret that I love my hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana so anytime I have a chance to show it off, I take it. This was one of my most popular posts of the year. Thanks to all of my hometown followers!!
My summer uniform.
Michael and I spent Labor Day weekend taking in the sites of Chicago. This was my first trip to the city, and I absolutely loved it!
This post features photos taken along the Georgetown waterfront, one of my favorite places to spend a summer evening.
I was fortunate enough to make it to NYC twice this year! In this post I shared details on how to spend a great weekend in NYC’s different neighborhoods.
I love how this post turned out. I had a fresh cut, and you know that always makes a gal feel like a million bucks.
Looking back at this post makes me laugh because I completely ate it when we were trying to get these pics.
My first time to visit San Francisco! I shared all the details on every touristy thing we did over the long weekend.
My favorite trip of the year. And it was just a day trip! I loved every single thing about our day in Napa.
My most worn sweater of fall! Love the local DC boutique that I got it from as well!
I told you I love this tunic! It can be worn so many different ways. And I love how this lighter look turned out.
Laughing again as I look back at this post because after shooting, a man stopped us on the corner and said he was a model and asked if we could take his picture too. Ha
I didn’t particularly love these photos at the time, but this outfit ended up being one of my most popular posts on Instagram this year so what do I know?!
I’m obsessed with this white brick wall and all of the ivy. I walked by it recently and all of the ivy is dead now so I’m looking forward to the spring when it looks this gorgeous again.
This post features some of my favorite shots from this year. The fall colors against the gorgeous, charming row houses made this beautiful day in the district that much better.
I haven’t put this leather jacket down since I got it.
Case and point. We visited NYC for the second time this year right before Christmas. There’s nothing like New York during the holiday season.
One of my last posts of 2015. The tree in DC’s City Center is beautiful and this was such a fun night! We shot these photos right before heading to see the National Christmas Tree and then to the National Theater to see Motown the Musical.
Like I said, I cannot thank you enough for following along with me this year as Cobalt Chronicles came to life. I’m so excited for what’s to come this year! Happy 2016!
