Yes, it’s still warm here in DC, BUT next week it’s supposed to be in the 70s with lows in the 50s, so I feel like fall is right around the corner!  October and November are my favorite months here in the city.  There’s a nice crisp breeze in the air and everyone is out and about enjoying every last second of semi-warm weather and sunshine before winter really sets in for December, January, and February.

Plaid Poncho for Fall

I’m hoping it cools down soon because I can’t wait to wear this poncho (check out similar pieces here)!  It might be my favorite addition to my closet so far this season.  How perfect are the colors for autumn?!  And when it gets a little colder during the winter months, um hello, this piece is basically a socially acceptable way to wear a blanket outside of your house!  Mud Pie makes the most adorable ponchos and capes!

Mud Pie not only has great new pieces for fall (love this ruffle sleeve sweater, this gingham top, and this fringe sweater), but they also have a ton of great accessories.  I love this tote bag (similar to my clutch) and this classic tartan scarf.  Another one of my favorite accessories is this fun bangle, with the saying “Make Your Luck,” love that!  Their accessories are very reasonably priced and would make great gifts for upcoming birthdays and/or the holidays!
