Does anyone else have a mild panic attack when a wedding sneaks up on you or a cocktail party is just around the corner?  I know I always do.  Invite me to a party where I can throw on jeans and a fun top and I’m golden, but for some reason, I always stress out over more formal attire.

But now, now I have this LBD on speed dial.  South Moon Under just revamped their dress collection, and this South Moon Under lace dress is one of my favorites!  The detailing on the sleeves is amazing.  And I love the open back – it pairs really nicely with the long sleeves and high neckline.  It’s fun but still appropriate for a cocktail event or fall wedding (you could bring a shawl to throw on if the wedding is in a more conservative church) and absolutely perfect for upcoming holiday parties!  For sizing reference, I usually wear a size small or a 2/4, but I’m wearing a size 8 in this dress so definitely size up.

In addition to the dress, I’m a big proponent of having a go-to pair of heels in my closet (at least one nude pair and one black pair).  I lost a strap to my tried and true  nude pair over the summer, so I just snagged this block heeled pair, and I LOVE them!  They’re perfect (and they are available in a ton of colors!).  For sizing reference, I sized up a 1/2 size.
