TGIF!  Who else is super excited that it’s the weekend?!  This weekend is sure to be a busy one, and certainly a fun one.  One of my best friends from college will be in town so I’m super pumped about seeing her and her little fam.  I’m also heading to this event tonight – if you’re in the DC area you should totally check it out!  Saturday will be filled with college football, and I REALLY want to go to the Redskins/Cowboys game on Sunday, but I’m still on the hunt for tickets so we shall see!

Before we get to what’s been happening this week, this past weekend my heart skipped a beat when I saw my name published on InStyle.com!  Just a little blurb among many, but still, it was pretty cool.  BTW the cheek tint that I’m raving about in the article can be found here.  I wear the sheer pink shade, it’s my favorite, obviously!

On Monday I shared my favorite new off the shoulder top and styled it for fall – I’m so excited this trend is carrying over to another season!

My favorite hometown magazine, Shreveport Magazine, published its Fall issue this week, and I had the pleasure of writing an article for them.  It’s a short read if you’re interested in checking it out! 😉  And if you’re in the Shreveport area, be sure to pick up a hard copy of the magazine!

It’s been a long time coming, but I finally shared my apartment tour with y’all on Wednesday!  As I mentioned in the post, my friend Tammy from Jasmina Design provided all of the beautiful flowers that are pictured around the apartment, and y’all, the orchids are STILL going strong – it has been weeks!
