I’m so excited to share my apartment tour + an interview that was recently featured on Houzz.com!
In the feature, I’m sharing details about the different design aspects of Michael and I’s apartment plus an inside scoop on how we’ve incorporated different facets of our southern roots into our row house apartment in Washington, D.C.! There are other things that I would like to do like add some of the Crestron Home Automation systems around our home. We’re currently trying to find the time to do that at the moment!

Love the article and your decor! The apartment looks amazing!! I’m moving to DC for work in the next few months, and I’m wondering if you wouldn’t mind sharing what the price range is for your apartment? I’m interested in Dupont Circle, and I’m trying to gage what’s the rent prices are. Totally understand if you’d prefer not to share, or if you’d prefer to share just a general price range for that area. Thanks!

Just read your feature on Houzz and I really like your casual-chic style. I’m looking for acrylic chairs for two cool industrial desks–one which my 13-year-old uses, and she prefers an upright back. I noticed yours and wonder if you’d recommend them…? Also, if you don’t mind sharing, I’ve noticed that the price range on these chairs (I’m looking on Houzz) can be so dramatically varied. If you WOULD recommend yours, are they on the higher end of that range…or more reasonable? THANK YOU!

Thanks so much! I highly recommend the ones I have. I work at my table and sit in them frequently. If she prefers the straight back, she’ll like them! The ones I have are $57 each, but I bought a set of 4 and got them for $176, which I considered a steal! As you mentioned, some are SO expensive! I’ve had them for over a year now, and they have held up wonderfully so far – no cracks or anything. Shipping was super fast and they arrived in a neatly packed package!
