October Amazon Favorites

October Amazon Favorites | Cobalt Chronicles | Washington, DC | Style Blogger

I’m back with my second installment of my monthly Amazon favorites!  I mentioned in my September Amazon Favorites post that I’m planning on making this a monthly post since I’ve been finding so many great items on Amazon lately!

In case you didn’t know, I have my own Amazon shop (“Amazon Favorites” linked under The Shop tab at the top of the page), www.amazon.com/shop/cobaltchronicles, where I link all of my Amazon favorites!  I update my shop frequently with finds, and all of my tried and true purchases are there too!

I’ll be rounding up my favorite Amazon purchases and finds each month, so let’s jump right into my October Amazon favorites!

I’m providing fit and quality review.  For sizing reference, I’m 5’4″ and usually wear a size XS/S/2.

A little bit of background on why my favorites this month look more summery than what you might expect for my October favorites – I’m currently on my way to the Turks & Caicos, Michael and I are getting married in the Bahamas in January, and we’re honeymooning in Hawaii.  I have a lot of warm weather trips ahead of me!  The summery finds were too good not to share!  If you have a winter escape coming up, definitely check out the swimwear I linked below!

October Amazon Favorites

Polka Dot Bikini ($14) //

I can’t wait to show you this bathing suit in real life this week while I’m in the Turks!  The fit is perfection.  It’s high-waisted, but not in a grandma-looking way.  I’m usually a small on top and a medium on bottom.  Unfortunately, you can’t mix and match sizes here.  I went with a small.  Both the top and bottom fit great!

The suit is available in 10 different colors and patterns!  I ordered a few swimsuits to try for this trip, and ended up returning all but this one.  The key to shopping for swimsuits on Amazon is to make sure the seller offers free returns and order a few different suits that you think you’ll like.  I sent three others back with no problem!

Coverup Sarong ($8) //

Michael’s sister had the cutest sarong on at the beach a few weeks ago for my bachelorette weekend.  She snagged it from Amazon!  It’s this one, so cute!  I knew I needed to grab one for myself too!  This particular style is available in 45 different colors and patterns, YES, 45!  It’s such a steal at $8, and it looks so cute on!

Crochet Coverup ($14) //

Another beachy piece!  Love this crochet coverup.  It’s loose without being too oversized.  I love the breathability of it.  It’s perfect for throwing on over your swimsuit for lunch or even just to hang out beach or pool side without being fully exposed.  It’s also available in a few different styles.

Puracy All Natural Cleaner ($14 for two pack) //

This find is admittedly a bit random.  But when I ran out of my traditional all-purpose cleaner, I wanted to find a cleaner that wasn’t packed full of chemicals.  The Puracy all-purpose cleaner had high reviews, so I decided to try it out.  I’m a fan!  I use this cleaner all over our apartment – bathroom, kitchen, countertops, glass etc.  It’s great at cleaning, and I love knowing that it’s made with natural products.

Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win ($17) //

I’m currently reading Charlotte Walsh Likes to Win, and I’m loving it!  It’s about a silicon valley business woman who’s also a wife and mother, who has decided to return to her small-town, hometown in Pennsylvania to run for  Senate.  I’m about a third of the way through it, so far so good!

Clear Kiss-Closure Purse ($23) //

Love this a stadium-approved clear bag!  I included this purse in my September Amazon Favorites roundup, but I wanted to share it again here because I have two upcoming games that I’ll be wearing it to!  It was such a good find!  Well worth the $23!  I love the elevated look of this one with the gold chain and kiss-closure.  It’s so cute, and I received so many compliments on it when I wore it to the LSU/Ole Miss game!  It fits a lot – I had my wallet, my iPhone 8+, a few makeup items, and a koozie with me.

Sam Edelman Boots ($160) //

I’ll leave you with an item on my list for November!  These Sam Edelman boots have been on my radar since early fall.  I’m deciding between the black patent and black suede.  I’ll likely order both to see which pair I like best.

Keep in mind, the keys to finding good buys on Amazon are 1) narrow your search by checking the Prime box on the left hand side of the page, 2) only look at items that have multiple reviews, 3) scroll down in the reviews to see if there are any purchaser-posted photos of the item (these are usually much more realistic that the product photos), and 4) make sure the seller offers free returns!

Check out this post on how I shop for clothes and accessories on Amazon!

Lastly, if you’re not a Prime member yet, I highly recommend signing up.  Not only is two-day shipping great for adding items to your closet, but it’s also great for everyday orders like toothpaste, cleaning supplies, and office necessities.  Check out all the details here!
