I’m loving every single piece featured in today’s post!  I’ve gotten so much wear out of this top, these jeans, the over the knee boots and this bag!  And I know I’ll be wearing this scarf non-stop once the weather finally decides to cool down for good.

I love a good, neutral look, especially during the fall months, and this one hits the nail on the head!

The Over the Knee Boots

I finally found the perfect over the knee boot!  After sticking with a pair that I didn’t love last year, I decided to try out another style this season.  While my dream over the knee pair are the Stuart Weitzman Lowland boots, I try to stick to a budget so this similar pair by Steve Madden fit the bill a bit better.  😉  They’re currently on sale for under $100!

Instead of tying at the back, they have a small zipper that starts at your heel and goes up to the bottom of your calf.  This is SO much better than the tie!  For one, since there’s an opening where the zipper is, when you slip the boots on, you can pull the bottom of your jeans down through the hole before zipping so they don’t get all bunched up when pulling the boot up and on.  Second, there’s no worrying about constantly having to retie the boots (last year’s annoyance!).

Another huge plus about these boots is that they stay up!  I walked all around town last Friday night, went to dinner, and stood at a concert for a few hours and the boots never fell down!

The Black Satchel Bag

Believe it or not, before this bag, I didn’t own a black satchel purse.  For as much black as I wear, that’s pretty hard to believe!  I’ve been carrying this satchel everywhere!  It’s the perfect size.  It fits all of the essentials (wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses etc.) plus more, without being too big.  I stuffed my leather jacket in it on Friday night and my scarf in it on Saturday (I’m always freezing).

I love the suede detailing and the fun little suede tassel (it’s detachable if that’s not your thing).  It’s also available in a sandstone color and comes with a long strap as well!

The Oversized Scarf

This scarf is so perfect for fall!  I love the color and the texture.  It’s so soft and so easy to throw on and go.  I paired it with this Topshop Top that you’ve probably seen me wear a million times.  The top is so good and it’s under $50!.
