Monday

On Monday I shared a few pieces from Cabi’s new collection.  No joke, I live in the Cathedral Cardigan!  So cozy and warm.

On a non-style-blog note, Monday was draining.  For everyone.  I signed up for a Soul Cycle class that evening to have an hour for myself to help reset after watching the horrendous happenings that unfolded in Las Vegas Sunday night.  I really hope change is coming soon.  If you aren’t sure how to take action to help tighten up gun laws, you can access your state representatives contact information here.  Send an email, make a call, send a letter.

Tuesday

I spent a lot of my day on Tuesday checking things off of my to-do list because the rest of my week was super busy.  I even packed for my trip that Michael and I are heading out on today!  Probably the earliest I’ve ever packed for a trip …

Wednesday

Wednesday I shared one of my favorite looks thus far for fall.  These boots (currently on sale!), this bag, and this cozy scarf!  All so good!

After work on Wednesday, I hosted an event at Madewell to celebrate National Taco Day with Chaia!  It was a blast.  Thanks so everyone who joined!  I picked up this pair of jeans while I was there.  They have so many good pieces right now!

Thursday

I spent most of my day on Thursday in Baltimore for work.  I’ve been to Baltimore at least five times, but always for quick work trips.  I really need to make it a point to check out the city one weekend when I have more time to explore!

Thursday evening I headed to Georgetown to check out the brand new Kendra Scott store.  It is BEAUTIFUL!  I got a sneak peek at the winter collection, and oh my goodness, so many gorgeous pieces!  It launches this coming Wednesday!  A few of my favorites from the store last night …

Weekend Plans

As I’m typing this, I’m back on the train heading to Baltimore, but this time for a fun trip!  Michael and I are flying out of BWI airport this morning and heading to Punta Cana for a long weekend trip!  Southwest flies to Punta Cana so we were able to use our companion pass for a quick trip down.  I’m so excited to be laying by the ocean later today!  Be sure to follow along on Instagram as I’m sure I’ll be posting to my Stories all weekend!

Other Happenings

Next Friday, October 13th – Right in time for Friday the 13th, join Aysia, organizer of the women’s social meet-up called Art of the Journey for a Haunted White House walking tour with DC by Foot.  The deadline to sign up is tonight (Friday, October 6th) at midnight.  You can find out more here!
