My sister, Lauren, lives in Shreveport, Louisiana (along with the rest of my fam) so it was a special treat to have her in town this past weekend!  As I’m sure anyone that lives far away from their family will tell you, it’s kind of the pits.  The one downside of living in the nation’s capital, I guess.  It’s just us two (sibling wise) so yeah we’re basically bffs for life.

We didn’t do anything too crazy this weekend, just mostly hung out, watched Fixer Upper, went on a little run, and ate a lot (per usual).  It was the BEST!

For one of our 15 meals, we went over to Union Market for some Takorean tacos (amaze).  I forewarned Lauren that I might need her to play the role of photographer while we were out and about.  While at Union Market we stumbled upon these AMAZING murals, which were just unveiled last week in celebration of International Women’s Day.  Everything about the backdrop of these photos and having my sister snap them all fits so perfectly!  I know I’m cheesing a little, but I just had to gush for a minute.  Shout out to sisters, especially mine, for being the best!

Now onto a few outfit details. 😉  I’ve been loving incorporating this spring top into my wardrobe!  I styled it loose and breezy here.  Some of the sizes are currently sold out, but a few came back in stock late last night so keep an eye out for restocking in your size!  For sizing reference, I’m wearing a small.

I picked up these Blank Denim jeans during the Shopbop sale, and I’ve been wearing them non-stop.  Even without the sale price, they’re still under $90, which is pretty great for quality denim.  They fit true to size.  I linked this exact pair as well as a few other Blank styles that I’m loving.
