I’m excited to be partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital again this year to help raise money to support finding a cure for childhood cancer and saving children’s lives who have been dealt the hand of cancer at such a young age.
Last year, I worked with St. Jude to promote the KTBS3/St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway in my hometown of Shreveport, Louisiana. Along with the Dream Home Giveaway every year, there’s a gala in Shreveport too – Miracles on the Red! The mission for both events is to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This year, because of Covid-19, the gala is going virtual! I’m excited everything is virtual this year because it makes it much easier to participate from afar!
I’ll be sharing different ways you can participate online each day over on Instagram Stories. I wanted to break it down here too so that it’s all in one place for easy reference. Gifts that Give
The easiest way to support St. Jude is to donate! There’s a $20 minimum, but you can see in the graphic below how far even $20 can go! You can donate HERE! You’ll need to register an account (takes less than two minutes) first, but after that, it’s easy peasy!
Virtual Auction
The virtual auction is already LIVE! You’ll first need to create an account so that you’re able to participate. Do that HERE. You’ll have to put in your cc info, but you won’t be charged anything. It’s simply to have on file in case you want to bid on an item.
A lot of the auction items are Shreveport-area specific, so if you’re in the Shreveport/Bossier area, check them out! There are lots of amazing items up for the taking! Standout items: This adorable custom playhouse, girls’ night shopping event at Favorite Sisters Boutique, Dine on Line (lots of gift cards to great restaurants on Line Ave!), and two date night packages to Superior’s Steakhouse and 2 Johns!

Join Me for the LIVE Event on Friday
On Friday I’ll be sharing a fun “get ready with me” series on Instagram Stories leading up to the gala start time – 6PM CST. Of course the event is virtual, but I’m making an evening of it! A fun “at-home” gala look! 😉
The virtual event should only last 45 minutes to an hour. Pour yourself a glass of wine or whip up a Friday cocktail and join me for the event! One of my favorite local chef’s, Chef Blake from Whisk Dessert Bar, will be sharing a fun cocktail recipe towards the beginning of the programming.
