With Weldon’s birthday being right around Thanksgiving (he was born on Thanksgiving Day!), I feel like I’m ahead of the game on toddler gift ideas this year! I put together a big list of birthday and Christmas gift ideas for him, and of course I wanted to share it here too for all of those moms, dads, aunts, uncles, and grandparents trying to get ahead on Christmas lists!
Toddler Gift Ideas
Table and Chairs Set
Love this little table and chairs set! It’s super affordable and has great reviews. Planning on adding this to our kitchen and living area so Weldon can have a place to sit besides his highchair for meals and snacks and a place to color and work on other art projects, puzzles, and more!
Jump ‘n Slide Bouncer
A few friends have this bouncer, and it’s always a big hit! I’ve helped set it up in the past, it’s super easy and fast! It comes with the blower you need to inflate it. I’ve seen both the full size and the junior size (the one linked) in person, and in my opinion, the junior size is plenty big (unless you’re constantly using it for neighborhood gatherings and parties).
Cash Register Toy Play Set
The therapy clinic that Weldon goes to has a similar cash register toy, and he LOVES it! The coins, the credit cards, the cash drawer, the buttons … so many things to keep little ones entertained!
Hot Wheels Little People Set
We love the Little People sets! This one looks so fun with the addition of the Hot Wheels race cars!
Play Kitchen Sink
One of our friends had a similar play kitchen sink at the beach this summer, and it was a hit with all the kids!
Rock Climber & Slide
We’re in the market for a few new outside toys for our backyard. I love that this one has a slide along with other imaginary play features.
Little People School Bus Toy
Again, we love the Little People toy sets! The school bus set is a classic.
Sticker Book
I originally bought sticker books for our flights with Weldon and since then, they’re his go to picks out of his toy basket in his room. He loves peeling them off, repeating the names of each item in the book, and placing the stickers on the corresponding pages.
Wooden Play Fruit & Veggies
A great toy for practicing fruit and vegetable words and naming as well as practicing matching and cutting!
Kitchen Helper Stool
Weldon is constantly saying “up” whenever Michael or I are in the kitchen. He wants to see what’s happening on the countertops. I’m so excited to get this helper stool for him! I have a couple of friends who have this exact stool, and they rave about it! It folds up nicely, which is a big draw for me!

Workbench Set
A classic toy to keep any toddler busy!
Busy Board
Busy boards are new to me, but they look like a genius idea to keep toddlers busy! A great piece to add to your playroom or toddler room wall!
Adjustable Basketball Goal Set
Weldon LOVES playing with this basketball goal set at therapy. Adding one to our backyard this holiday season for sure!
Pretend Cleaning Set
A fun toy for Weldon to do what mom and dad do! I recently saw this set in person, and it’s too cute!
Play Kitchen
Weldon lives for a play kitchen! I’m excited for him to have one of his own at home! I spent a ridiculous amount of time researching play kitchens, and this one ended up at the top of my list based on price, reviews, and different features. It’s currently on sale and available in several colors.
