Wedding season is upon us and soon to kick into high gear!  I don’t often buy new dresses for weddings or wedding parties these days as I’ll usually just make do with a cocktail dress that’s already in my closet.  It seems silly to buy a new, pricey dress that’s only going to be worn once or maybe again down the line when there’s another wedding or event to attend.

I had a black-tie-optional wedding to attend this past weekend, so I felt like my short cocktail dresses weren’t going to cut it, and the only floor-length dresses I own are bridesmaid dresses.  Shocking that I don’t have a few ball gowns laying around my 800 square feet apartment, I know!  I scoured the interwebs for a dress that would do the trick, but I didn’t want to spend a fortune.  In steps this hi-lo ruffle hem dress that I found for under $100!

Wedding Guest Dress Under $100

To be exact, the dress is only $59!  I love the hi-low ruffle hem and the skinny straps.  The hi-low hem makes it seem a little more formal, but the ruffles keep it flirty and fun!  Another reason I love this dress is because it can easily be dressed down too!  How cute would it be with sandals at the beach this summer?!

For sizing reference, I’m 5’4″ and wearing a XS.  If I would have tried it on in-store, I probably would have gone up to a Small just for a little extra room in the hips.
