Essential Oils Starter Kit

Essential Oil Diffuser + Oils Starter Kit | Chatbooks Photo Books (Get $10 OFF here!)

Friday, we meet again!

Over the past few weeks I’ve gotten more and more into using my essential oils on a daily basis. I’ve been using them for over a year in our home, but only recently started incorporating them into my daily routine. I love filling up my diffuser in the mornings and letting it roll through the afternoon. Such a good replacement for candle burning! No smoke, no toxins released into the air! If you need some inspiration on what essential oils blends to diffuse, check out this Instagram post – lots of great recs!

This is the Starter Kit that got me hooked! The kit comes with the diffuser in the photo above, 12 essential oils, 10 hand sanitizer packets (free of any harsh chemicals), a Thieves spray bottle sample (my favorite house cleaner – I use the sample on the go), plus more! A year later, I’m just now replacing some of my oils that came in my Starter Kit. Feel free to email me with any questions at [email protected].

Weekly Workouts

This week’s workouts …

For workouts this week, I did at-home Orangetheory on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and yoga via my friend Alexis on Friday morning. Orangetheory is still providing daily, free workouts on on its YouTube channel! My friend Alexis is a yoga and barre instructor and general wellness guru. She launched her own virtual community studio during quarantine since she wasn’t able to teach at her brick and mortar studio. She has a catalog of classes online + offers live classes during the week too! You can try it out for FREE here!

I’m planning on getting in a long walk in a couple times this weekend too!

Podcast Recs

Since quarantine started back in March, I’ve been slacking on my podcast listening. I used to work from home alone, so I always had a podcast on in the background. Once Michael started working from home too, I kind of fell off the bandwagon. I did listen to this week’s Bad on Paper episode with Carly. This is Carly’s second time to be on the pod. If you missed her first interview, check it out here! I enjoyed both!

Weekend Plans

A lot of the same. Michael and I are missing out on a family wedding this weekend, which I’m sad about, but #covid. We’re celebrating from afar. We’re keeping up our streak of 5PM patio dining with a dinner reservation at one of our favorite Houston spots, Hugo’s, this weekend. Other than that, not too many wild plans on the books.

My Favorite Things this Week

Convertible Mask // I got this new mask in this week and I’m obsessed! It’s a neck scarf with an attached mask. When you’re not wearing the mask while out and about (in your car or while eating or drinking), it’s easily disguised as a cute neck scarf! I have the leopard print but there are a handful of other prints available too! It has a button closure on the back, which is nice as compared to most neck scarves that you have to tie in the back. The girls at Somewhere Lately have a discount code that you can use for 15% OFF your order – SWL15 – I’m already looking to purchase another!

Ilia Under Eye Concealer // I’ve been looking for a totally clean under eye concealer to replace and match up to my beloved Tarte Shape Tape. After years (literally) of trying out different brands, I think I finally found one that works just as well! Tarte is clean-ish, but I wanted to make the switch to a totally clean brand. Ilia is a favorite of mine (love their liquid eye liner and mascara!). The Ilia True Skin Serum Concealer works great to cover under eye discoloration and redness on my face! I went with the shade Yucca.

Have a great weekend!
