Happy Friday! I hope you had a good week! I spent Monday playing catch up after being in North Georgia all weekend at The Blog Societies Conference. August has been a heavy travel month for me, but thankfully, that was my last trip of the month. It was nice to be home this week with nowhere to go this weekend.

THIS WEEK’S BLOG POSTS

What’s In My Shower | Clean Beauty Shower Essentials // I pulled back the shower curtain to share my shower essentials! Most of my shower products are clean beauty products. If you missed the post, check it out here!

Amazon Jumpsuit // My latest Amazon find! I shared all the details on the Amazon jumpsuit I’m loving – it’s available in 4 colors and under $30!

Getting Fall Ready with the cabi Fall Collection! // I had so much fun putting this post together! Cabi has so many cute pieces for fall! I’m working with cabi this season as an ambassador, which I’m thrilled about since I’ve been a fan of the brand for years. With that said, I’ll be sharing more about the brand and more of my favorite pieces by cabi throughout the upcoming season!

WORKOUTS

I’ve been trying to find a new-ish weekly workout routine with incorporating my half-marathon training. Here’s what worked this week.

  • Monday: Rest Day (coming off of TBSCon, I had to catch up on life)
  • Tuesday: 3 mile morning run
  • Wednesday: Anytime Fitness weight workout + evening SoulCycle ride
  • Thursday: 3 mile morning run
  • Friday: Anytime Fitness weight workout
  • Weekend: 6 mile morning run (likely Saturday)

PODCASTS

Since I work from home most days, I like to have a podcast on in the background. As a result, I listen to a lot of podcasts throughout the week. Most are business related, but some are just for fun. Here’s what I listened to this week!

Things to Note

I happen to have a couple of discount codes for y’all that are still valid so I wanted to share here this week!

Liv Bliss Loungewear // Liv Bliss is a local DC area company that has the softest, comfiest loungewear! I have three of their tees (this one seen here, this one, and this one – all in size small). They pair perfectly with jeans or with joggers for lounging around the house. Use code COBALT20 for 20% off!

Daily Harvest // I’ve seen a few of my favorite bloggers raving about Daily Harvest smoothies lately, so I decided to try them out for myself – Michael and I are big on at-home smoothies! They are delicious and so convenient! The smoothies are individually portioned out in cups – all of the fruit and veggies are in the cups, all you have to do is add liquid (I use water or almond milk). I also like to add a scoop of protein powder to beef it up a little bit. You can use code COBALT for $25 off your first order!

Sephora Sale // Not a discount code, per se, but Sephora is having it’s summer VIB/Rouge sale! VIB members (you just have to sign up) get 15% off and Rouge members get 20% off. I grabbed a refill of my at-home sunless tanner yesterday – it’s a clean beauty product (I did a full review here!)! It’s a great time to refill and stock up on any of your go-to products!

Beautycounter // Want 25% off all Beautycounter products, all the time?! Shoot me an email – [email protected] – I’m a consultant for Beautycounter and it’s the best thing ever! Not only do I get to purchase my products at a discount, I’ve met the most amazing community of women through joining Beautycounter as a consultant (my team leaders are Jess and Blair!).

Beautycounter is an amazing brand leading the way to get clean beauty products into as many hands as possible. They’re also leading the charge to make big changes in the personal-care industry. They have a dedicated team that advocates for stricter guidelines and regulations to shift the personal-care industry away from using harmful and questionable ingredients.

There are legit no requirements, no minimum orders, really no catches at all to joining! Just the ability to meet new people and earn an additional stream of income. Shoot me a message if this sounds interesting, I’d love for you to join! Email: [email protected]

WEEKEND PLANS

Like I mentioned above, I’m so excited to be staying put in Houston this weekend. I have no plans on the calendar besides getting in a 6 mile run for our half-marathon training. Michael and I will likely hit up a brewery or try out a new-to-us restaurant on Saturday, but other than that, it’s looking like a pretty chill weekend!

FAVORITE THINGS THIS WEEK

Pearl Embellished Headbands // I scored this pack of three velvet headbands embellished with pearls for under $15 on Amazon last week! I’ve been wearing them non-stop (seen here). I love the two lighter colors for now, and I know I’ll be wearing the black as soon as the colder months roll around!

Kendra Scott Customized Earrings // Kendra Scott had a smaller version of its Color Bar set up at the conference last weekend. I customized a pair of the Elora earrings. I have the silver pair (rhodium) with the White Howlite stone (it’s marble like). You can customize tons of different pieces on the Kendra Scott website!

Have a great weekend!
