Happy Friday! Whew, this week flew by! Michael and I are heading to New Orleans today for the weekend, which I’m so excited about! We have dinner plans with friends tonight, and I’m heading to a baby shower for one of my college BFFs on Saturday. I’ll also be cheering on the Tigers when the go head to head with Bama this weekend! New Orleans is one of my favorite cities so I’m really looking forward to the weekend ahead!

I wanted to share one little bit on an event that I had the opportunity to attend this week. I was so honored that the Kendra Scott team invited me to be a part of their Kendra Cares event at MD Anderson hospital here in Houston. If you’re not familiar, Kendra Scott (a brand I personally love), has a huge philanthropy initiative called Kendra Cares. The event that I participated in involved a pop-up Color Bar at MD Anderson on the pediatric cancer floor. Patients were able to stop by and design their very own piece of Kendra Scott jewelry for themselves and/or a family member. It was so much fun to help them pick out their pieces and give them even a minute to escape their current reality. It made me really proud of the Kendra Scott brand, a brand that I already love, and now love even more!

THIS WEEK’S BLOG POSTS

Lisbon Travel Guide: Where to Stay, What to Do, Where to Eat // I did a deep dive on our time spent in Lisbon and shared a complete travel guide to the city!

Morocco Travel Guide: One Week In Morocco // I was on a roll with the travel guides and also published my Morocco guide too! Morocco is so incredible! I didn’t sugar coat anything in this post though. I tried to share our experience and really shed a light on what you should expect when traveling to Morocco. The number one question I received/receive when I tell people we went to Morocco is, Is it safe? I touch on this a lot in the post! Check it out if you missed it this week!

cabi November New Arrivals! // cabi released the last pieces of the season this week! You can shop the Fall Collection as well as the New Arrivals here! I styled two of my favorite pieces from the New Arrivals in this post!

WORKOUTS

Holy smokes, I changed up my weight workouts this week, and boy did I pay for it! I’m slowly but surely getting back into my pre-half-marathon training workout routine, but my leg workout kicked my butt this week! I did a weight workout on Monday at the gym and could barely walk for two days …

  • Monday: Leg day at Anytime Fitness + SoulCycle
  • Tuesday: Couldn’t move from leg day 🙂
  • Wednesday: Day Off
  • Thursday: SoulCycle
  • Friday: Planning on getting 10,000 steps in walking around NOLA!

PODCASTS

Since I work from home most days, I like to have a podcast on in the background. As a result, I listen to a lot of podcasts throughout the week. Most are business related, but some are just for fun. Here’s what I listened to this week …

Things to Note

I currently have a few discount codes for some of my favorite services and products. I share these on Instagram Stories often (and try to save them in my highlights), but I figured I’d share them here too in case you missed them!

Rent the Runway Unlimited // Use code RTRASHLEE for half-off of your first month’s service! I love using RTR Unlimited! You can read all about my experience with the service here!

Equilibria CBD // I’m just dipping my toes into the world of CBD, but I finally found a CBD company that I really trust, and I ‘m excited to be partnering with them. Equilibria is a women owned CBD company based in Chicago. I’ve been using the pain relief cream on my hips and calves after long runs while training for the half. One of the things I love most about Equilibria is that when you make a purchase, you are put in touch with a dosage specialist who can help you figure out what CBD dosage is best for you and your needs! You can use code cobaltchronicles for 15% off your first order!

Daily Harvest // My go-to, easy to make, at-home smoothies! These are great and so convenient! I love that they help me to mix up my smoothie game. When I’m left to my own devices, I tend to make the same combination smoothie day after day. Use code COBALT for $25 off your first order!

Territory Foods // The BEST already prepared, meal delivery service! If you’re in an area where Territory delivers (hey DC, Dallas, and more!), my code still works for $50 off across your first two orders ($25 off each order). Use code COBALT – I’m still lobbying for them to make their way to Houston!

WEEKEND PLANS

This weekend starts a marathon of weekends out of town. I’m in New Orleans this weekend (Birmingham the next, then Mobile, then Baton Rouge!). I’m so looking forward to a fun, low-key weekend in New Orleans! Good friends and good food!

FAVORITE THINGS THIS WEEK

A few of my favorite things this week!

Golden Goose Sneakers // Ok, I know. They’re ridiculously expensive. But hear me out. I’ve literally been eyeing these sneakers for 2+ years. In the meantime, I’ve bought a pair of Cole Haan sneakers, Adidas sneakers, Tretorn Sneakers … all of which I love, but I wish I would have just bit the bullet and bought the pair I REALLY wanted from the beginning. Because the cost of those three sneakers add up to the price of the Golden Goose pair! I used a combination of birthday money and a gift card to purchase them. They arrived on my doorstep last Friday, and I’m not lying when I say that I’ve worn them every single day since! They’re the best. And I wish I would have bought them a long time ago! With that said, if you’ve been eyeing them, in my opinion, they’re worth every penny!

Everlane Square Neck Top // I included this in last week’s Favorite Things, but it’s really good, so I’m including it again here! And I packed it to wear to dinner tonight! It’s SUPER flattering! It has a ribbed texture and fits pretty snug, but because of the thicker knit fabric, it’s really flattering and doesn’t show much. It has cute details on the shoulders and at the wrists, and I love the square neck! It’s available in a few colors! I’m eyeing the Cider shade!

Have a great weekend!
