Can you guess where I’m heading this weekend?!  No, not New Orleans.  I’m heading home to Shreveport, Louisiana for Mardi Gras!  As I’m sure you can imagine, Shreveport’s Mardi Gras is slightly more tame than NOLA, but it’s still loads of fun.  I’m  heading to one of the main parades on Saturday evening, Gemini, and I’m making an all day affair out of the Highland parade on Sunday – My sister rides in this one so I’m looking to bring home lotssss of loot.  😉  Be sure to follow along on Instagram Stories and Snapchat (cobaltchronicle) for all of the fun!

This week has been a pretty quiet one on the social side.  I usually try not to jam my week up with commitments right before heading out of town … anyone else do the same?  On Monday I shared a new Spring look from Imelda’s.  I received a few questions regarding my white Spanx leggings – don’t be scared!  They live up to the Spanx name that you know.  They fit perfectly, don’t show any dimples, and aren’t see through!

For this week’s Travel Tuesday post, I shared a few of my favorite restaurants in D.C.  I really am spoiled by living in this wonderful foodie town!  And on Wednesday, a pop of cobalt!
