Happy Friday! I hope the short work week treated you well. I felt really energized and excited about the week after coming off of the holiday weekend. As a result, this week was super productive. I have some fun news I’ll be sharing over the week on Instagram, likely Sunday, so stay tuned!

This Week’s Blog Posts

Five Fun Finds // This month’s Five Fun Finds is all about fall home decor! I added a few fresh pumpkins to our fireplace this week (found them at Whole Foods) and picked up some fall inspired blooms from Trader Joe’s too. I’m so excited for the changing of the seasons! Check out the post for a little fall decor inspiration!

Isle of Paradise Mousse Review // Isle of Paradise’s newest self-tanning product (a clean beauty product!) is GOOD! It’s so easy to apply and gives the perfect glow. Check out my full review and keep that summer tan rolling through fall and winter.

Weekly Workouts

This week’s workouts …

I just started using the Peloton app last week, and I’m full on obsessed. Michael and I did a 30-minute strength training class on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and a 30-minute yoga class this morning (Friday). Peloton offers a 30-day free trial of the app. After the free trial, the app membership is only $12.99/month. I’m full-on hooked. Should I get the bike next?! I’m very tempted.

A little more about the Peloton app … it offers a variety of recorded and live classes, including strength training, yoga, meditation, outdoor running, walking, running, stretching, cycling, and bootcamp classes! You don’t need the bike to sign up for the app. Highly recommend checking it out!

Cobalt Household Favorites + Discount Codes

Away // Away luggage, the only luggage Michael and I use, had its first EVER sale this week! It’s still happening, through the 15th. Everything on its site is marked down up to 50% OFF! I have the Large bag, the original Carry On, the Bigger Carry On (with battery) and the Everywhere Bag. I love the Large bag for when I’m checking a bag or traveling by car. For most of my travels I use the Bigger Carry On + Everywhere Bag duo! If you’re going to purchase one item, I’d recommend going with the Bigger Carry On.

SoSis // Get 15% off your purchase with code OURGIRL – One of my favorite local, women-owned Louisiana boutique!

Nécessaire // I’ve been trying out the Body Essentials Kit (the Body Wash, Body Lotion, Body Exfoliator). Nécessaire is a clean brand that I’ve seen hyped all over social media. They reached out to see if I wanted to try out a few of their products. So far, really liking them, especially the Body Exfoliator!

M.Gemi // Use code COBALT60 for $60 off your first purchase! M.Gemi shoes are handmade Italian shoes. The quality is outstanding. They run TTS. I have the Feliz Suede Drivers and love them!

Whisk started Pinpals as a way to spread a little joy with delicious baked goods! Get half off your first month subscription (brining it to $10!) with code COBALT50!

Weekend Plans

Another weekend here in Houston. Michael and I made dinner reservations on the patio at a restaurant we’ve been dying to check out, so I’m excited about that! Keeping my fingers crossed for no rain. Other than that, I’ll be tuned into college football and the NFL this weekend! Hooray for football being back!

My Favorite Things this Week

GreenPan Cookware // I took a short hiatus from cooking dinner – Michael took over for a few weeks, but I was back on it this week. You may have noticed over on Instagram Stories where I usually share what I’m whipping up for dinner. I shared a full review of these pots and pans in this post a few weeks ago. They add a little extra joy to cooking! These plus my new silicone cooking utensils make me excited to be back on dinner duty!

Topshop Cardigan // The perfect fall/winter cardigan! It’s the one I’m wearing in the photo at the top of the post. I’ve worn it a few times inside while working from home. The quality is really great, and I like that it has pockets! It’s available in a few colors. It’s oversized. I have the Regular XS.

Have a great weekend!

I’ve researched the two – I’m SoulCycle obsessed, but I have to say that so far, based on initial research, I feel like Peloton is doing a better job with the at-home version. Still definitely team SoulCycle as I LOVE the structure of the classes and the instructors. The Peloton app has been awesome so far! I’ll definitely be keeping it even once my free trial is up!
