Happy Friday!  It’s cherry blossom season in D.C.!  Michael and I trekked down to the Tidal Basin yesterday to catch a glimpse of the blooms before they all disappear.  They’re finicky little things and it just takes one big rainy/windy day to knock them all out (today’s weather forecast!).  If you’ve never experienced the blossoms in D.C., you should definitely put it on your list of things to do!  It’s really incredible and so beautiful.  When strolling around the Tidal Basin, it’s like walking under a canopy of pink and white petals – it’s gorgeous!

I spent the beginning of my week at National Harbor in Maryland for my 9-5 job at a work conference.  National Harbor is only a 20-30 minute drive from D.C., and it’s where the new MGM casino is located!  Unfortunately, I didn’t get to check out the new casino, but the area itself (obviously on the water!) is really pretty.

On Monday, here on the blog, I shared this adorable off the shoulder chambray dress, which is perfect for any upcoming spring break trips you have planned!  And on Wednesday I shared five skincare products that you need now!  I featured the five products on my Instagram Stories last night so you can head there to see the products in real life!

I’m pretty excited to get through this workday and ready to celebrate one of Michael and I’s friend’s birthday all weekend long!  We’ve got bowling on tap for tonight plus a birthday party tomorrow night!
