In today’s Travel Tuesday post I wanted to take a look back at the first few months of 2017 and a look forward as a little recap and a way to keep y’all posted on where I’m heading.  If you missed my 2017 Travel Bucket List, you can check it out here!

So far this year, I took a quick trip to Snowshoe to get a little skiing in (although it rained most of the time), went to Memphis to visit college friends, headed to Shreveport for Mardi Gras, and celebrated Michael’s 30th birthday in West Palm Beach.

I may take a weekend trip to NYC later this month just to get out of DC for a weekend, and because New York.  But I’ve really been saving up for a big trip in May!  Over Memorial Day weekend, Michael and I are heading to Europe!  We’re hitting up London, Paris, Barcelona, Berlin, and Amsterdam.  We used points for our international flights – Ultimate Rewards transferred to United, hard to beat a free flight across the pond!  We love staying in Airbnbs when traveling so we’ll be crashing at a few of those while we’re there.  (You can sign up for Airbnb here and receive a discount on your first stay!  As a disclaimer, I also receive a credit when you sign up and complete your first stay!  #winwin)  We opted to save a little bit of money by using a handful of our SPG points to book a free room for our time in Berlin.

Have any recommendations for those cities?!  Restaurants, bars, things to see, places to go?!

After our European vacay, I’ll be heading to Shreveport for a quick weekend in June, and Michael and I will be off to Navarre Beach and Newport, Rhode Island in July.  I’m so excited to visit Newport as I’ve never been to Rhode Island!  In September, we’re heading to Boston and Mobile, Alabama (wedding!), and in October we’re off to Punta Cana (or maybe Tulum?  Do you have a lean?!).  I’ll be cheering on the Cowboys in Dallas in November, and we’re rounding out the year by soaking up some sun in St. Croix.

Let me know if you have any recs on where to stay, what to eat, things to do, must sees in Newport, Boston, Punta Cana/Tulum, and St. Croix!  They’ll all be first time visits for me!
