Per usual, another month has flown by!  If you missed last month’s goals post, check it out here!

May flew by especially quick because Michael and I had visitors in town for 9 days this month.  I love having our family and friends visit us in D.C., but it certainly makes the weeks fly by!  I’ve had a few pretty big life things happening this month too, which always puts a bit of a haze around time.  I’m planning on sharing most of those big details in a blog post next week, so stay tuned!

With that said, let’s dive into what’s on tap for June!

Fitness Goals

I’ve mentioned SoulCycle in every monthly goals post this year (January, February, March, April, May).  I’ve remained pretty consistent with attending classes during the first five months of the year.  I mentioned in last month’s goals that I was sticking to my 5 lb weights during class, and I did again this month!  Making the minor adjustment from 3 lbs to 5 lbs has definitely made a difference.  And I’m really starting to be able to tell a difference in how many reps I can do with the heavier weights.

In addition to SoulCycle, I started BBG (the Bikini Body Guide workout) this week!  Since I’ve been attending so many SoulCycle classes, I cut my gym membership earlier this year.  The BBG workouts are easy to do at home, which is a huge plus!  I have this set of weights (super affordable) and this yoga mat, and use a set of stairs behind my apartment – that’s about all you need for the workouts!  I may invest in a jumprope sometime soon as that’s one thing that’s hard to replicate without the real deal.  BBG is a 12-week program.  I share a lot of my workout info on Instagram Stories, but I’ll be sure to keep you updated in my monthly goals posts here on the blog as well!

Contracts Business // Cobalt Chronicles Business

Like I mentioned above, I’ve had a few big life things going on over this way and one involves both my contracts business and this blog!  I’ll be sharing a full blog post on what’s been going on next week, so stay tuned!

In regard to goals coming up this month, I’m working on planning my first workshop for my contracts business!  If you’re in the DC area and are a creative entrepreneur or small business owner, I’d love to have you join me for a fun and educational evening at Fostr Collaborative for the workshop!  You can get your tickets here!

In regard to fun stuff happing this month here on the blog, I have a few partnerships coming up in June that I can’t wait to share with you!  A fun collaboration with a local furniture store, including a gift card giveaway for you to shop for a new piece too!  Plus a collaboration that I’m shooting while on my family beach trip at the end of the month!  Good stuff heading your way!

Wedding Planning

I’m diving head first into wedding planning this month (miss our engagement story? check it out here!).  I’m excited to share steps throughout the process with you here on the blog, but don’t worry, this isn’t about to become a wedding blog.  It’s no secret that Michael and I love to travel, so we’re planning a destination wedding!  My goals this month for planning include locking down a venue and a date.  And perhaps getting the Save the Dates in order … More details to come!

Cheers to a productive and fun summer month ahead!

Yes, I would love that! Starting to take classes at Georgetown too, which I think would be much more convenient for you!
