I’m excited to share a full review of Beautycounter’s new mascara, Think Big All-in-One Mascara, with you! I feel like it’s always a struggle to find the PERFECT mascara, especially when you’re looking for a product with clean ingredients that also WORKS. Beautycounter recently released its Think Big All-in-One Mascara. I’ve been using it for a little over a month so I feel pretty confident in my review.
A Little Background
If you’re familiar with Beautycounter, you might be wondering what happened to the old mascara that Beautycounter used to sell. Beautycounter used to have two mascaras – Lengthening Mascara and Volumizing Mascara. To be honest, neither was great. I used the Volumizing Mascara until I discovered Ilia’s mascara. Since my priority was a clean product, the Volumizing Mascara fit the bill and was fine at the time. I ultimately switched to Ilia’s mascara, which is also clean, because frankly, it was a much better product.
Beautycounter recently decided to revamp its mascara. It did away with both the Lengthening and Volumizing mascaras. Beautycounter spent a lot of time reformulating its mascara and came out with the Think Big All-in-One Mascara.
Why I Love the Beautycounter Mascara
I was reluctant to try Beautycounter’s new mascara. Especially since I really like Ilia’s product. I decided to give it a whirl after hearing that it’s very comparable to the Ilia mascara. After the first couple of applications of the Think Big All-in-One Mascara, I was sold.
It Lengthens & Volumizes
The Think Big All-in-One Mascara does double duty. Prior to becoming pregnant with Weldon, I used a lash growth serum. I stopped using it once I found out I was pregnant, and I haven’t jumped back on that train as I’m still nursing. With that said, I can use all the lengthening help I can get, and this mascara does the trick!
As for volume, it does a great job at adding fullness to my lashes too!
No Clumping
The new formula goes on so smooth. It doesn’t clump and layers really well!
Doesn’t Smudge or Flake Off Throughout the Day
Before publishing this review, I wanted to test out the long-wear factor of the mascara. It passes with flying colors! It doesn’t flake off or smudge throughout the day. For daily wear, I usually have my mascara on for at least 8 hours.
How to Add an Extra Layer of Volume
To add even more volume, I like to layer the Beautycounter All-in-One Mascara over a primer. I use the Milk Makeup Primer to add an extra layer of volume. I apply one layer of the primer before applying the Beautycounter mascara.
How to Easily Remove the Beautycounter Mascara
The Think Big All-in-One Mascara has staying power. I find that the easiest way to remove the mascara (and all of my makeup) is with a cleansing oil or balm. I alternate between the Pai Rosehip Cleansing Oil and Beautycounter’s Cleansing Balm. Both work great and are so gentle!
