Berlin Heat Wave | Black Tank Dress

I mentioned in last Friday’s post that it has been a lot warmer here in Europe than was forecasted before we left. We were expecting the highest temperatures to be in the mid-70s. A heat wave came through Paris and Berlin, and it ended up reaching the mid to upper 80s! Since we’ve been spending the majority of our days walking around outside, I needed to invest in one more dress to get me through the hot days – I brought two along with me, but you can only wear a dress so many times … ya know?!

Thank goodness for H&M! I popped in one of their shops in Paris and snagged this black tank dress (such a steal!). It looked super versatile, comfy, black (a must when planning on wearing it to explore all day!), and cool … just what I needed!

I wore this dress all day earlier this week while walking around Berlin in 85 degree weather, and it was perfect! It’s super comfy and lightweight, and I love how it pairs with my Cole Haan sneakers, which I’ve worn to death on this trip! It can also easily be dressed up with a cute pair of sandals. For sizing reference, I’m wearing an XS with room to spare.

I’ve also been carrying this crossbody satchel with me everyday – it’s the perfect bag for summertime! I love the hobo shape, the mix of fabric and leather, and the size (it even fits my DSLR camera for walking around during the day!).
