Well this has been a pretty great week!  Last Friday, Michael and I hopped over the pond to London where we spent the weekend exploring the city.  Don’t worry, I’ll have a full post on where we stayed, where we ate, and what we did coming your way soon!

On Monday we took the train (about a 2 1/2 hour ride) from London to Paris.  Here on the blog, I shared a Parisian inspired trend, the neck tie, and how to style it to avoid looking like a flight attendant.  😉

On Tuesday I shared what I packed for our two week trip – I managed to fit everything into my Away carry on bag + a small backpack!  I did have to pop into H&M yesterday to buy a dress because it is a LOT warmer here than the weather forecast called for before we left.  Thank goodness for H&M and their $10 dresses!  🙂

On Wednesday we took the train out to Versailles (only a 45 minute ride from the city!) to check out Louis XIV’s palace and the beautiful gardens surrounding it.  On the blog I shared a little splurge vs. steal roundup including a few of my favorite summer styles!

Michael and I spent Thursday taking it easy in Paris and enjoyed a lovely dinner at our favorite spot, Chez Janou (we went there twice during our stay!).

We had an early wake up call this morning, 4am to be exact, to catch a flight from Paris to Barcelona where we’ll be spending the weekend!  I’ve been sharing our days on Instagram Stories so be sure to follow along there!
