Neon Green Top

Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a nice week. Mine was pretty great, not in any sort of mind blowing way, just in a sense that I felt in a groove, super productive, and felt the creative juices flowing. I’ve been working on some back end logistics and revamping how I link things for you guys here on the blog and in my Instagram Stories, which has been such a welcomed change! I updated all of my Shop Pages at the top of the website. You can now shop all of current favorites there: My Amazon Shop, Workout Gear Favorites, Clothing Favorites, Favorite Shoes, Favorite Accessories, and Beauty Favorites. One cool new feature in how I’m linking products for you guys is the “Get Sale Alert” feature, you’ll notice an example of this in the product widget above. You can easily heart an item and sign up for sale alerts on products I share! You’ll get an alert sent straight to your email inbox anytime a product you’ve selected goes on sale. Pretty cool!

I’m looking forward to a low key weekend here in New Orleans. Michael and I had a busy and fun weekend last weekend – we checked out two new restaurants, Hungry Eyes and Osteria Lupo, and a new to us spot, Costera. All were fantastic! This weekend we’re trying out something else new, but not a restaurant, a race track event at NOLA Motorsports Park! I’m excited to take W out to see the race cars!

Before diving into this week’s musings, a quick favor to ask! I promise, it’s one of my last times to ask! 😉 I applied for the Sephora Squad, which is a year-long ambassadorship program with Sephora. It’s super competitive, but I thought, why not take a stab at applying?! As part of the application process, I need testimonials, which is where you come in! You can leave one here –> Leave a Testimonial – it’s just one question and takes less than 5 minutes to complete. I’d be so appreciative of your support!

Friday Musings

+ I can’t stop wearing my new Birkenstock sandals. They’re just so perfect!

+ Finished Verity by Colleen Hoover this week, woah. What a trip. The wildest book I’ve read in a long time. As a forewarning, it has every trigger warning under the sun so definitely read a preview of the book before diving in. I started The Hopefuls by Jennifer Close this week, and I’m LOVING it. Much more my speed.

+ Michael and I are all caught up on Ted Lasso, Season 3. It’s such a feel good show! Highly recommend.

+ I hate to admit it, but I love my Stanley cup. They came out with new (good!) colors this week and of course they’re flying off the shelf.

+ I’ve followed Ayana on Instagram for a few years, her essay published in Cosmopolitan this week on Postpartum Psychosis is both heart wrenching and eye opening.

+ I have so many ideas for our house. It’s pretty much a blank canvas. Loved looking at these dreamy kitchens for inspiration!

+ Run … neutral New Balance 327s fully in stock (read my fit guide before buying!)
