Golf Themed Birthday Party

We had the best time celebrating Weldon’s first birthday! I wanted to do something fun and simple while still celebrating this precious boy BIG! We had a small get together at Michael’s parents’ house. It was perfect!

I went with a golf themed birthday party, and it turned out so cute!

Weldon’s Hole in ONE Par-Tee!

To keep things simple, I went with these adorable digital download invitations. I was able to easily personalize the invite, save it to my phone, and text it to our family and friends. Of course, I’d usually opt for mailing the invitations, but like I mentioned, my goal was to keep things as simple and stress-free (for me) as possible.

For the main feature, we went with a DIY balloon arch. This one is golf themed and comes with two golf foil balloons too! This is my second DIY balloon arch. They’re pretty easy to do, but you NEED this electric balloon pump. It’s worth every penny, makes the process so much more efficient, and 100% easier. The balloon arch kit comes with everything else you need to make the arch. I recommend making it a day or two before your party. It takes a few hours to put it all together. The balloons stay inflated for a few days, so it’s fine to do ahead of time.

We had two long tables. I used these white table cloths and bought artificial turf runners to go with the golf theme. The runners were so cute!

All of the other decor came in one party pack. I went with the Large Bundle, and it was perfect! The quality of the pieces definitely matched the price. Totally worth it. And the shipping was really fast too! The Large Bundle included:

• Highchair banner
• Party Hat (the CUTEST!!)
• Cake topper (I stuck it in the main food item)
• 100 pcs Confetti (perfect sprinkled over the artificial turf runners)
• Happy Birthday Banner
• Monthly Photo Banner
• 12 Cupcake Toppers (I stuck these in the food items)
• 20 ft Circle Garland

For food, I ordered several items through Zoe’s catering menu. Chicken roll-ups, Greek salad, several hummus dips, and chicken salad. Both the main cake and Weldon’s smash cake were showstoppers! They are by Amazing Cakes. They were great to work with and not only were the cakes so cute, they were delicious too! I grabbed these plates and napkins to match the golf theme!

We had the best time, and most importantly, Weldon had so much fun! I loved the golf themed birthday party idea, and I am so pleased with how it all turned out!
