My Current Skincare Travel Must Haves

Skincare Travel Must Haves | Cobalt Chronicles | Washington, DC | Beauty Blogger

I’ve been traveling a lot over the past couple of months. In September alone I traveled 16 days out of the month! With all of my travels, I’ve become pretty good at packing my essentials. One thing I never leave home without is my go-to skincare products. I work really hard to keep my skin looking its best so I’m surely not going to let that go while I’m on the road! Ever since I started following a Korean Skin Care routine, I feel as though my skin has improved a lot. With this being said, today I’m sharing my 8 current skincare travel must haves that I never leave home without! These are products that I use every single day and night while at home and on the road.

Skincare Travel Must Haves

Makeup Remover – Kopari Coconut Melt //

I love this Kopari product! It’s topnotch coconut oil that takes the makeup right off of your face while moisturizing. I love that my makeup easily comes off with this product with only a few swipes. It’s not only available in a larger, at-home size, but it comes in a travel size as well! I have the travel size, and it fits perfectly in my go-to clear travel toiletry bag.

Another plus, the Kopari Coconut Melt is a clean beauty product, meaning that it’s formulated without potentially harmful ingredients like Sulfates SLS and SLES, parabens, formaldehydes, formaldehyde-releasing agents, phthalates, mineral oil, retinyl palmitate, oxybenzone, coal tar, hydroquinone, triclosan, and triclocarban. I’m slowly but surely trying to become more knowledgable about the ingredients in my skincare and beauty products and switch out products to cleaner alternatives.

Morning Skincare Products

Origins GinZing Refreshing Eye Cream //

Another clean beauty favorite of mine is this Origins eye cream. It’s perfect for applying first thing in the morning while on the road as it’s formulated to both refresh and brighten your under eyes. It’s lightweight and goes on nicely. Perfect for applying makeup later on in the morning.

Ole Henriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Creme //

I started using this Ole Henriksen gel creme a few months ago, and I’m obsessed! You’ll notice that the name of the product includes the phrase “gel creme” – That’s the perfect description for the weight and texture of this product. I like it because it’s more of a gel than a heavy moisturizer. Perfect for morning time! It also has a fresh orange scent as a result of the vitamin C infused into the creme, which is delightful.

Colleen Rothschild Sheer Renewal Cream //

I mentioned this Colleen Rothschild Renewal Cream in last week’s Week In Review post. It’s a great product to use in the mornings and at night, but I tend to use it more during my morning skincare routine. It’s a lightweight moisturizer that goes on perfectly over the Ole Henriksen Brightening Creme. It’s sheer and has a powder-like finish, which is perfect for applying makeup later on in the morning.

Nighttime Skincare Products

Rodan & Fields Lash Boost //

I never miss a day of applying this miracle serum! I talked a lot about this Rodan & Fields product in my post on how to get longer, thicker lashes without eyelash extensions. I apply it to my lash line nightly, and I certainly don’t leave home without it when I travel. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but one tube lasts me around 6 months.

Dermalogica Stress Positive Eye Lift //

This product used to be a staple in my skincare routine, and then I ran out of it. I recently saw it featured in an Instagram Story and decided to snag another tube. I’m obsessed again! The applicator on this product is a metal tip, which feels AMAZING on your under eyes at the end of a long travel day! I love that the product itself is super lightweight, more like a serum than a moisturizer.

Kiehl’s Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado //

This Keihl’s eye treatment is one of the most decadent, heavy moisturizers I own. I love slathering it on under my eyes, over the Dermalogica eye serum, right before bedtime. It keeps the thin layer of skin under your eyes so moisturized throughout the night!

Belif True Cream Aqua Bomb //

Last but not least, my current favorite nighttime all-over moisturizer! The Belif Aqua Bomb is the most hydrating, wonderfully smelling product that I’ve ever put on my face. It has a bit of a menthol smell to it, but in a calming, ready for bed sense of the smell. It’s super hydrating. I wake up every morning with dewy skin, which is great when you’re at home, and even better when you’re traveling and on the go!
