Quarantine Kitchen Essentials

Quarantine Kitchen Essentials | Cobalt Chronicles | Houston Lifestyle Influencer

I think we can all agree we’ve been spending WAY more time in the kitchen lately! Michael and I officially surpassed the one-month-at-home date a few days ago. We picked up takeout once during those 30+ days. Needless to say, I’ve been trying out a handful of new recipes while at home. Some of my kitchen accessories have definitely been standouts throughout this time! Today I’m sharing my quarantine kitchen essentials! The pieces in my kitchen that have come in extra handy during this crazy time.

Kitchen Essentials

Cookie Sheet // I made a big batch of homemade Nestle Tollhouse cookie dough during our first week at home. I popped it in a ziplock bag to keep in the freezer. The dough lasted for about 4 weeks. I baked a handful of cookies each weekend for a sweet treat to have on hand! These cookie sheets have come in super handy!

Loaf Pan // 20% OFF (only $40). Along with cookies, I’ve also baked a couple of sweet cakes/bread. I made a lemon cake loaf and most recently chocolate chip banana bread (this recipe + chocolate chips). I love this loaf pan by Le Creuset! It’s perfect for the banana bread craze!

Instant Pot // I love my Instant Pot. I use it on a weekly basis to pressure cook and sauté all kinds of things! It’s perfect for cooking chicken dishes like my tikka masala, this easy ramen recipe, and these Thai chicken rice bowls. Once you use it a couple of times, it’s super easy to use.

KitchenAid Mixer // On sale! $100 OFF! Another gadget Michael and I use on a weekly basis, our KitchenAid Mixer! I’ve used my mixer a lot during quarantine for baking, but it’s also perfect for mixing raw meats and seasoning for burgers or turkey meatballs. I also use it to shred chicken straight from the Instant Pot.

Dutch Oven // Almost $200 OFF! I have the 7.25 quart size dutch oven. It’s perfect for a big batch of soup AND for baking homemade bread! I baked my first ever loaf of homemade bread early on in quarantine – I used this recipe – and it turned out pretty great!

Air Fryer // If you follow along on Instagram, you’ve likely noticed my obsession with our air fryer! It’s great for homemade sweet potato fries, breaded or marinated chicken, gnocchi, you name it! It’s so incredibly easy to use. It crisps up food perfectly with no greasy mess! I’ve been so impressed by this gadget!

What have been your kitchen standouts during this time at home?! Drop them in the comments! Would love to know!
