Review of Maelove Deep Exfoliator, Glow Maker, and Night Renewer | Cobalt Chronicles | Houston Clean Beauty Blogger

I’m excited to share a new to me, clean beauty brand with you! If you follow along with my Stories, you’ve probably seen me feature Maelove over the past few weeks. I also featured their Glow Maker serum as one of my favorite things of the week in this post! I’ve been trying out their products for the last month or so and have really loved them!

Not only are the products themselves great and effective, I love that Maelove’s price points are super reasonable (especially for clean beauty), they offer free shipping & returns, and a 100-day guarantee – you have 100 days to try out the products and make sure they work for you and your skin. If you don’t love the products, you can return them at no cost to you! I love that! Especially with skincare that’s sold online, it’s important to be able to try out products to make sure they work for you – everyone’s skin and skin needs are different. I love that Maelove makes it easy to do this!

Ok, now onto the actual products!

Maelove Deep Exfoliator

I always keep an exfoliator in my shower. I’ve been using the Maelove Deep Exfoliator twice a week for the last month or so. If you’re new to using an exfoliator, exfoliating a few times a week helps remove dead skin and unclog pores. I find it especially effective during the winter months when my skin tends to be pretty dry.

Exfoliating helps your skin to be able to absorb all of the goodness from other skincare products too since it opens up your pores!

The Maelove Deep Exfoliator has salicylic acid, which is great for cleaning all of the icky stuff like dirt, bacteria, and grime off of your skin and out of your pores. It’s also fortified with vitamin E (among other vitamins), which helps restore moisture. I can FEEL the difference in my skin immediately after using the Deep Exfoliator. My skin feels softer and smoother after every use.

You can check out all of the ingredients in the exfoliator on its product page. Also, check out the reviews for a lot of great insight on others’ experiences with the product as well! Another great thing about the Deep Exfoliator is its price point. At $24, it’s a great budget friendly option for a clean product to incorporate into your weekly skincare routine!

Maelove Glow Maker

The Maelove Glow Maker is my FAVORITE Maelove product that I’ve tried! Think of it as a lightweight vitamin C serum. I use it every morning, after cleansing and before applying moisturizer. Sometimes I’ll even skip moisturizer and only use the Glow Maker if I’m in a hurry and need to quickly apply my makeup. It’s really lightweight and not sticky or oily at all. Great for daytime wear.

The Glow Maker contains a punch of vitamins (C &E) and Hyaluronic Acid – all great for brightening your skin and getting rid of dark spots! I’m always battling sun spots on my face due to years and years of thinking I needed to look like I was beach-living year round (ugh). The Glow Maker along with the Night Renewer (see below) have really helped reduce the appearance of these spots (along with the rest of my skincare routine – also, consistency is key!).

Again, the price point on the Glow Maker makes it a great budget friendly Vitamin C serum option! It’s $28, and the beauty about serums is that a little bit goes a long way! So the bottle will last a while!

Maelove Night Renewer

Last but not least, the Night Renewer! Think of this as similar to a gentle peel. What’s unique about the Night Renewer is that Maelove formulated it specifically for sensitive skin. So it’s a really gentle peel!

I use the Night Renewer cream 2ish nights a week. I can feel it working immediately upon application – it tinkles a bit. I apply after double cleansing (gentle cleaner + cleansing balm to remove all of my makeup). Sometimes I’ll apply a face oil afterwards (once it sets in), but sometimes I leave it be and only apply the Renewer at night.

The Night Renewer has medical grade Glycolic Acid, which helps with resurfacing your skin and reducing the appearance of fine lines. Again, the price point on this product is extremely budget friendly at only $28.
