I can’t believe the 4th of July is this weekend! Where is the summer going? This had me thinking about the things I want to do before the cool fall weather makes its way back to DC, so I came up with a summer bucket list.
I’m not above writing down items that I’ve already accomplished just to make myself feel better by immediately being able to cross a few things off. So here we go …
Beach trip with my family(Photos are from our trip to Destin, FL!)- Beach trip with my second family (Heading to Portofino in Florida!)
- Buy fresh tomatoes @ the farmers’ market (I have yet to find any tomatoes here in DC that compare to the amazing tomatoes I used to get in Alabama – keeping my fingers crossed they are coming!)
- Weekend road trip to Annapolis, MD
- Attend a Washington National’s game
- Paddle boat or kayak on the Potomac River
Grill out with friends- Spend a Saturday at a rooftop pool
- Watch an outdoor movie at the Golden Triangle
- And for this weekend, watch the 4th of July fireworks on the National Mall
