This week I wrapped up my last work week of the year! I’m planning on taking a true break for two weeks! I’ll have more on my break plans in my last blog post of the year on Monday, but I’m essentially taking a break from posting here on the blog from December 24th – January 5th. Michael and I are traveling a lot over the next two weeks so I really want to be present and enjoy the holidays with our family and friends. I also want some time on the backend to reflect on this year and plan for 2020.

Speaking of holiday travel, Michael and I are heading to Shreveport today! I haven’t been back to my home town in a few months so I’m excited to see my family and friends and spend some time at home.

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies + 9 Christmas Cookie Recipes! // I shared one of my favorite cookie recipes on Monday and linked to 9 other bloggers and their Christmas cookie recipes too! So many good ones! Check out the posts for baking inspiration!

10 Last Minute Gift Ideas from Amazon // Still in need of a few gifts?! You still have time! Every item included in my Last Minute Gift Guide is available via Prime shipping!

I really tried to stick to my workout routine this week as I know I’ll likely be a little off over the next two weeks!

  • Monday: Weight workout at Anytime Fitness + SoulCycle
  • Tuesday: Weight workout at Anytime Fitness
  • Wednesday: Weight workout at Anytime Fitness
  • Thursday: Yoga at YogaWorks
  • Friday: Travel Day

Here’s what I listened to this week:

Bad on Paper Podcast: Grace Interviews Becca! Decorating Her Apartment, The Term “Influencer”, and Freelance Life

The Skinny Confidential: Faye Evarts & Alexis Haines Get Real About Giving Birth, Postpartum Depression & Anxiety, & C-sections

How I Built This: Tate’s Bake Shop: Kathleen King

Be There in Five: Personal Rebranding (with Ashley Hesseltine from Girls Gotta Eat)

Things to Note

Discount Codes

I currently have a few discount codes for some of my favorite services and products. I share these on Instagram Stories often (and try to save them in my highlights), but I figured I’d share them here too in case you missed them!

*Kendra Scott* // I’m so excited to share that I have a Kendra Scott discount code for you for the holidays! You can use code KSHOLIDAY2019 for 20% OFF any purchase of $100 or more!

Rent the Runway Unlimited // I’ve been using my RTR Unlimited collection like crazy over the past few months! Weddings, Christmas parties, my upcoming trip to NYC, you name it, the Unlimited service is great! Use code RTRASHLEE for $200 off a 2 Month Trial ($100 off your first and second month) of RTR Unlimited. That’s more than a 60% discount!! I love using RTR Unlimited! You can read all about my experience with the service here!

Liv Bliss // (Tee seen here) Buy one item and get the second one 30% off plus 15% off an order using code HOLIDAY15. And free shipping for orders in the US!

Winc Wine // I’ve been using Winc, a wine delivery service, for the last few months. I love that they essentially pick out wines for you, based on a fun quiz, and ship them straight to your door! I usually end up switching a bottle or two out for something I’ve been specifically wanting to try, which you can totally do too! You can use my link to get $22 off your first order, which equals out to $39 for 4 bottles of wine! Click here to place your order: winc.mivh.net/cobalt

Equilibria CBD // I’m just dipping my toes into the world of CBD, but I finally found a CBD company that I really trust, and I ‘m excited to be partnering with them. Equilibria is a women owned CBD company based in Chicago. I’ve been using the pain relief cream on my hips and calves after long runs while training for the half. One of the things I love most about Equilibria is that when you make a purchase, you are put in touch with a dosage specialist who can help you figure out what CBD dosage is best for you and your needs! You can use code cobaltchronicles for 15% off your first order!

Daily Harvest// My go-to, easy to make, at-home smoothies! These are great and so convenient! I love that they help me to mix up my smoothie game. When I’m left to my own devices, I tend to make the same combination smoothie day after day. Use code COBALT for $25 off your first order!

Territory Foods // BREAKING NEWS! Territory now delivers in Houston! (I’m really working on getting all of my DC favorites to Houston … so far I’ve succeeded with Sweetgreen and now Territory!). The BEST already prepared, meal delivery service! Use my code – COBALT – for $50 off across your first two orders ($25 off each order). I love using Territory when I know I have a busy week ahead or when Michael is traveling. The meals are already prepared, delicious, and healthy too!

Like I mentioned above, Michael and I are heading to Shreveport today! We don’t really have any set plans, just planning on hanging out with friends and family!

A few of my favorite things this week!

YETI Mug // I use this mug daily. It keeps my coffee warm for hours at a time. I love the shape and look of it too! It’s available in tons of colors and under $25! (And available via Prime shipping for a last minute gift!)

Lake Pajamas // I treated myself to a “winter” pair of Lake Pajamas when they had their Black Friday sale. I have a shorts/tank set that I LOVE! They are the softest PJs! I snagged this winter pair for myself and wore them almost every night this week! They’re so soft and worth every penny! Promise you won’t regret this buy! For sizing reference, I wear a size small.

Have a great weekend!
