I feel like I’ve been kind of stuck in a rut the last few months with work since I haven’t been able to share this big life happening here on the blog or on social media. Weekly Workouts
This week’s workouts …
I’m still loving the Peloton app! Michael and I did a 30-minute strength training class on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and a 30-minute yoga class this morning (Friday). Peloton offers a 30-day free trial of the app. After the free trial, the app membership is only $12.99/month. I’m definitely drinking the Peloton koolaid.
A little more about the Peloton app … it offers a variety of recorded and live classes, including strength training, yoga, meditation, outdoor running, walking, running, stretching, cycling, and bootcamp classes! You don’t need the bike to sign up for the app. Highly recommend checking it out!

Weekend Plans
I convinced Michael to get new tennis rackets with me this week. I’m excited to put them to use this weekend! We’ve both played tennis casually off and on since we were young, but we haven’t played in years … It’s something I’ve been wanting to get back into. We have two public courts in our neighborhood. At the very least, it’ll be something different to do outside.
Other than that, we have a dinner reservation at UB Preserv, a Houston staple, on their patio, which I’m excited about! Also looking forward to another weekend of college and NFL football – one more week until the SEC is back!
My Favorite Things this Week
Isle of Paradise Self Tanning Mousse // We’re finally heading to the beach next week! This is the first summer I haven’t been to the Florida panhandle beaches in … my life?! I’m so excited that we’re heading there with Michael’s family next week for a belated summer vacation. I’ve been using Isle of Paradise’s new self tanner to prep. ha!
