I love lipstick and lipgloss – it adds a nice pop of color and/or shine to any look (I barely have any makeup on in the photo above, but the lipstick makes such an impact!). And it’s especially fun to switch up the colors with the change of seasons. Today I’m sharing my favorite fall lipsticks!

Why It’s Worth Switching to Clean Lipstick
Before we jump into my picks, I wanted to share a quick blurb about why it’s really important to swap out your current lipsticks to clean, non-toxic lipsticks. Making the change is easy and can have such a huge impact on the chemicals that your body is absorbing! Lipstick is one of the main offenders in the beauty industry of containing potentially harmful ingredients like lead and parabens. There are no regulations on the cosmetic industry, and as a result, cosmetic companies can put virtually anything in our makeup and skincare products (scary!). And the bad thing about lipstick is that not only can the chemicals be absorbed through our skin, since it’s on our lips, it’s inevitable that we’re ingesting a bit of it too!
The good news – You can quickly reverse the amount of chemicals being absorbed into your body. If you’re skeptical, watch this short Good Morning America clip – it’s really eye opening! Making a small switch in the products you’re using can make such a big difference! And thankfully, there are great brands setting higher and higher standards regarding what ingredients they use in beauty products. Now let’s jump into my favorite fall lipsticks – all clean and non-toxic!

Beautycounter Color Intense 9 to 5 // My go-to fall lipstick and what I’m wearing in the photo above! I love this mauve color for this time of year. Beautycounter’s Color Intense lipsticks are highly pigmented. A little bit goes a long way!
Ilia Colorblock Lipstick Wild Aster // Aside from Beautycounter, another great place to shop for clean beauty products is Follain. They carry lots of clean makeup, skincare, and home brands. Ilia is one of my favorite clean makeup brands outside of Beautycounter. Their lipstick goes on smooth and is super hydrating! I love the Wild Aster color – the perfect dark berry shade!
Beautycounter Color Intense Little Black Dress // Another shade in the Color Intense lipstick that I love for fall, Little Black Dress. A great neutral berry color for date night or girls’ night out!
RMS Beauty Jezebel // Another brand that Follain carries that I really like is RMS Beauty. Their lipsticks are hydrating and long lasting. Jezebel is a great dark berry option!
Beautycounter Sheer Lipstick Lily // I love Beautycounter’s Sheer lipsticks. They’re a nice medium in between the Color Intense lipsticks and the Lipgloss. The Sheer lipstick goes on so smooth and is super hydrating. It’s really easy to layer the Sheer lipstick – one swipe and you’ll have a nice subtle color, but add a few more and the color will be more intense. Love the Lily color for fall!
Beautycounter Lipgloss Poppy Shimmer // This gloss looks super red and shimmery in the tube, but it goes on so pretty! At my recent pop-up, I had several people purchase this gloss after begrudgingly trusting me to try a sample. It’s a gorgeous, low-key red for fall!
