Happy Friday and Happy 4th of July weekend! I hope you had a nice, short week! It flew by for me. A highlight – Michael and I early voted in Texas’ primary election, which is set for July 14th.
It was our first time voting in Texas, which meant three trips to the polling station before we actually voted. lol First, we forgot our masks (rookie mistake), then once we got there, because we both have out of state licenses (still DC), we had to use our passports as identification. Of course Michael didn’t have his. Third time’s a charm! The actual voting process was really simple and quick – no lines! If you have the opportunity to vote early in your state or better yet, by mail, google your state rules and mark your calendars so you don’t have to fight the crowds on election day!

This week’s workouts …
I stuck with Orangetheory at home this week and actually enjoyed it! If you read last week’s Week In Review, I mentioned I was getting a little tired of the classes after three+ months of doing the Orangetheory at-home workouts. There were lots of workouts this week that focused on weights – less cardio – which are my favorites.
I’m planning on a couple of hour-long walks over the next few days. My favorite way to get some exercise in lately!

Weekend Plans
Michael has today off from work so it’s a semi-holiday for me today. While he’s playing golf this morning, I’m wrapping up a few work things and looking forward to calling it an early afternoon. We don’t have any big plans for the weekend, just hanging at home + grilling out on Saturday.
