Happy Friday! I hope you had a nice, short week. Short weeks always fly by – I always seem to be playing catch up. I was busy this week with a few contracts projects and my usual blogging schedule. Nora and I partnered on a fun Style Session on our blogs and on Insta Stories to share 8 ways to style our favorite Everlane jumpsuit. It was really fun! Thinking I need to share more “how to style” posts!

One thing that weighed heavy on me this week is the murder of George Floyd. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen the Stories I posted over the past few days. Silence is no longer an option. If you’re white and haven’t watched the video, you need to. A simple action step you can take right now – text FLOYD to 55156. You’ll receive an auto response back to sign a petition demanding chargers to be brought against the officers involved in Floyd’s death. It takes two seconds to complete.

On a lighter note, let’s jump into this week’s Week In Review.

This Week’s Blog Posts

May 2020 Amazon Favorites // I love sharing my Amazon finds with you! Rounded up my best purchases in May!

May Recap, Look Ahead to June // Hard to believe May is winding down! I shared a recap of the month including my thoughts on May (and the pandemic), travel plans (or lack there of), a wellness update, the most read blog posts, and the top selling items of the month!

Everlane Jumpsuit 4 Ways // As I mentioned above, Nora and I styled our favorite Everlane jumpsuit 4 ways each! I had so much fun putting this post together. Hopefully it inspires you to grab a jumpsuit from your closet this weekend and style it a different way than you have in the past! 🙂

Weekly Workouts

This week’s workouts …

This week, Michael and I did Orangetheory workouts Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Apparently it’s Mayhem Week … I think that’s a normal Orangetheory thing, but it was new to me! The workouts were intense – lots of cardio and legs. But a great workout!

Orangetheory is still offering these daily workouts on YouTube for free. We’ve been doing Orangetheory almost every weekday. We finish each workout with a quick run around the block!

Michael and I are heading to Galveston later today (Friday), so I may skip out on Friday yoga this week and replace it with a long walk through the neighborhood we’re staying in.

Weekend Plans

Weekend plans are weird these days. Houston and Texas as a whole has, for the most part, fully opened back up with limitations on capacity. With that said, I haven’t been anywhere besides the grocery store and my local plant shop. Neither Michael nor I have left the house at all this week since returning from Shreveport on Monday. With that said, we’re planning on heading to Galveston later today. It’s a 45 minute drive from Houston. We’re staying with two friends who have a house on the bay. I’m excited to spend time with friends and enjoy the outdoors on their deck by the water. It’ll be another low key weekend of laying low and cooking at home.

My Favorite Things this Week

A few of my favorite things this week …

AGOLDE Denim Shorts // Also available here and here! Seen in the photo above. I raved about these denim shorts in this Instagram post. I’m not a shorts person, but it’s HOT in Houston. Why are good denim shorts so hard to find?! I FINALLY found a pair that works! They’re the perfect length (no booty shorts), high rise, really soft, and just perfect, really. I wore them all day working from home one day this week. They don’t rise up. They really are great!

Everlane T-Shirt Dress // Seen here. My specific color sold out so fast, but this easy t-shirt dress is still available in two other colors HERE. The quality is really great. And it’s such an easy item to throw on! It’s only $30, a steal IMO!

Everlane Chino Shorts // Another Everlane find! These shorts are pull-on shorts with an elastic waist, but a stylish elastic waist. 😉 The length is great! A bit longer, which I really like. I have a size 4 in these.

Have a nice weekend!
